Day 2 - Monday 11.03.2024, while Ah Wai is reversing his Maserati out, I saw the gate started closing and Ah Wai bang slightly onto the gate. I was feeling awkward to have seen him making this mistake thinking he might have had a pretty bad driving skill. And then, in a split second, I thought this couldn't be it and turned around to see Bevlynn pressing some buttons at the coffee table. She was happily and curiously exploring the gate button inside the house, unknowingly what it does. I started screaming in panic at her and Hubs started running from the kitchen to stop the gate from moving further. OMG. THE HORROR on on our faces!! After the save, Ah Wai continued to go out in a rush to his office.
What
a way to start our holiday with two hyper kids. They really gave us a lot of mini
heart attacks and spiked some adrenalin into our bloodstream.
We first
went to the Jurassic Park Zoo Teruntum. It had a grand entrance with music from
the jurassic movie. The first dinosaur was the T-rex in a change. There was a
little hut for Hobbits and more than 10 over dinosaurs at a large open field.
We did not have much time to look at the dinosaurs as an uncle told us to head
to the crocodile den. All crocodiles were stagnant and one waiting with its
mouth open. We decided to be lazy like the crocodile and rested under the
trees.
There are various animals like the zebra, ox, ostrich, otter, meerkats, chickens, rabbits, goat. Actually it was quiet a fun place to be. But the sun was unforgiving and scorching hot, like piercing into the skin. We stayed in the air con place to cool down. There is a big indoor playground for the kids. They loved it. Such a big playground for just the two of them. There is a hanging bridge connecting the two playgrounds. Bevlynn and Brayden was having lots of fun. But unfortunately the place does not come with an eating location. So we had to leave to grab late lunch at 3pm. We only had light snacks. So it will be a good thing to bring your own food for lunch if anyone like to stay for the whole day.
Afterwards,
we had lunch at Teluk Cempedak again - KFC. But the place was empty, mostly due
to the boycott of Malays to such big fast food joints. We stayed at starbucks
until 5pm, then off we go again to Bevlynn's favourite ... "Beach"...
Brayden with his usual build the sand castle and river. Bevlynn dipping into
the waters with big waves. She is so light and almost could be swept away by
the waves. But she still loved it.
We
bought Pokemon fishing kite. The wind was strong and we could play it too.
There were monkeys fooling around the beach site.
Dinner
was at the Kuantan Ma'nate. It was a fun-filled tiring day.
