The night before P1 first day, Brayden could not sleep and talked to Mommy about what to expect in school. He saw the menu for canteen and said that "I'll only eat spaghetti every single day because it is my favourite" I told him to try more variety and he said "I'll only have western food then".
On 2nd Jan 2024, Brayden attended P1 First Day with Mommy and Daddy. There was orientation, eating in the canteen and ball games with parents. It was a fun and exciting first day. Brayden went to Student Care afterwards.
On second day of school, he already walked in on his own, confidently, without fear. And guess what, the whole week he was only having macaroni soup - Nothing else.
Bevlynn is now in N2, she now needs to learn the new spot for her water bottle and class. And she kept forgetting. She was also excited to see Mommy peeking at her from school window. This little girl is turning 3 soon. She's learnt more new speech. "What is this~~? (sarcastic tone)", "What happen, Mommy" "Why?". She's getting more curious, and a fast learner she is too.
Me and Hubs are getting a nice start to 2024. We enjoyed our daily dose of early morning coffee with lovely conversation. Pouring words of encouragement and support for each other. Albeit 2024 is going to be a tougher year, it is comforting to do this as a constant reminder of our life goals and this provides us enough courage to face any challenges that would come.
My glucose level has been spiking on and off recently. I am starting to be more cautious with my food intake. I will have to work out more and eat less sugary food. Fighting!!
