Little Pirates Playland | B.Duck | Game On Sports Hub | Home of Kids | Classy

How to keep kids (4 & 8 years old) occupied for their week-long holiday?
Pavilion Bukit Jalil was our next target destination. Mom and Bro Max travelled to KL to meet us. I love it that there is not much crowd around since it was not a school holiday.
  • Day 1 : Little Pirates Playland
Bev went in to play with Lily. Bray had to finish his Maths homework before he could go in. It was a motivation for him and he managed to finish 40 pages in 2 hours. I, on the other hand, had some reading done while helping with his homework.
On this day, Bray mentioned several things happened for him according to law of attraction. Is it really an attraction or just a mere coincidence?

  • Day 2 : B.Duck (Bonus : Home of KIDS)
The children wanted B dot Duck again. They couldn't get enough from the last round (in June). They loved the catching ball game with net. Our favourite was still the two rotating claw machines. We caught a few more ducky key chains - we even caught 3 pieces at once.

Bray wanted to sit in the small children car that could only fit a 5 year old and below. He ended up settling for the roof of the car while we pushed the two children around.

There was an exhibition Home of KIDS. Many children tv characters were there. Cocomelon, KFC Chicky, Ultraman, Didi and Friends, Dora the Explorer, Powerpuff girls, Pinkfong, Bluey. There were various games, bouncy castle, lucky draws.

The two children were happy when Mommy pushed them on stage to take photos with Ultraman.
Look, Hub and I were even happier to be with Ultraman.
We were reminded of the times when Ultraman turned up to save the day - on every weekend in a small town. The plots were simple and uncomplicated. Every week, new giant monsters turned up, Ultraman would fight his best until he almost die of tiredness. How we'd know he's almost out of strength? The blinking light on his chest. We would get nervous and started to cheer the hero on "Go Ultraman Go!" Then in the last minute, he'd found a sudden surge of last strength and would bring down the monsters. Yay Hero of the day! With so much damages to the town, it would return to the original state the next week; like it never ever happened.

  • Day 3 : Game On Sport Hub
All of us were in Game On; including my Mom. They had expanded the space. There were more games; countless, we cannot finish all even if we tried.

    - Sports : Pickleball, Archery, Soft archery, ping pong, bull riding, roller blading, badminton, mini-golf, netball,....
    - Table game : Snooker, Table football, giant Jenga
    - e-Games : Car race, Harry Potter, Soccer, Switch Mario games, Metal Slug, follow the shape on screen...
    - Karaoke
    - Play area for below 6 years old - sand pit, milking a cow and feeding the baby with milk, small city, trampoline...

We played from 1pm - 10pm. The children was drained on this last day, so were the adults. It's a nice family indoor space that can be catered to various ages.

Project Classy is coming to completion after 1.5 years. Decorated with modern Zen theme, a strong sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Moving on to the next project.

Finished reading 2 more books. When talking with Bro Max on the book content, he shared that he was at a stage of burnout. It's really a lot of pressure to own a business that survives through the Covid pandemic. He'd have to take care of his staff while struggling to maintain the business. Now he's trying to bring his business to the next level - hope the door of opportunity opens for him.

Back to Singapore.

Oh My Pet Expo | Low Yat | KF Kiddy Circuit Play

The largest pet expo in Malaysia was here - Oh My Pet Expo. We were coincidently there and the children were delighted with the showcase of pets. There are so many pet lovers there - some can be seen pushing their fur babies in strollers, others carried a bag pack with transparent window.

At the entrance, two men was sharing joy with the crowd. One of them had 3 gliders, while another had 3 crows. Yup, a man dressed in Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) costume with 3 real, black crows on his shoulders. The crows were surprisingly very well behaved, only pecking on his head once awhile.

The children aren't afraid to touch the glider and letting it run around their neck and head.

Bev saw a puppy; "Mommy, can we have a dog?"
Bev saw cats in pet display windows; "Mommy, can we have a cat?"
Bev saw two guinea pigs with the most cutest and innocent eyes; "Mommy, can we have lily pig?"

I remember I had so many pets growing up. At different times, I had dogs (Dalmations, Shih tzu, German pinscher, Mixed breeds), cats, fish, chicks, tortoises, hamsters, white mice, iguanas, rabbits...
I lost count. I do love pets but each ones were so dear to my heart. Every time I lost them, I was so devastated. The longest ones were Coco and Crystal - our pet dogs for ~15 years. Since 1st day they were born, until they grew old and passed on. Crystal died of an infection on her back; while Coco died of old age (he was deaf and blind at that time).

We went to Low Yat and Sungei Wang this week. It is still has so many choices of electronics at a bargain. Bought laptops for Bray and Hub.

We went to KF Kiddy Circuit Indoor Playground. For RM48 / per child, there was unlimited play and 3x 10 minute mini-circuit race. They played from 1pm - 7:30pm, and they were still energetic. I had some time to catch up on my reading.
