POP-sperity Sentosa | Universal Studios CNY theme | Movies by the Beach "Finding Dory"

We went to Sentosa. This time we took the direct RWS bus into the island.

When we arrived, we were greeted by God of Fortune (Chai Sen Yeh); we received several gold coins.
The place was decorated in Chinese New Year theme with many Pop Mart giant statues around; Labubu, SkullPanda, Twinkle-Twinkle, Baby Molly... It was an interesting display of Pop-sperity. I did not noticed until much later when I looked back at the photos, the characters were in their horse-theme costumes.

There was a map too. We could collect stamps (of the characters) from the booths located in various sites. Once completed, we could redeem the stickers with all the 12 POP Mart characters in the CNY horse-theme theme costumes. The children were a little creative, they stamped their hands with the red chop. Their little hands were all filled up to their elbows.

We went into Universal Studios Singapore. The main stage was decorated in Chinese New Year theme. We met Tigress from Kung Fu Panda. Our inner Kung Fu just showed up. Hiyak!!

We were in time to watch the Rockafella Street Dance. We went twice to the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. As usual, the children was excited in this wet water ride. Bev asked "Are the dinosaurs real?"
Bev and I went to Dino-Soarin'; Bray was not interested. We met Baby Emily, the dinosaur. The knowledgeable scientist was explaining many fun facts about dinosaurs, and I became as intrigued and curious as the children.

This time we met Princess Fiona at the meet and greet.

The Despicable Me Minion Mayhem queue was not too long this time, we managed to go in. The first room was to watch Gru and the girls + smell of Banana fart. Then we were led to a room with a big screen. It was like being transported to a giant Minion Game. I loved the vibrant colours; and the explosion of details (which went by too quickly)....
At the end of it, I suddenly crave banana.... 'WHAT????!!!!" (high-pitch minion voice). I guess the mission changed all of us into minions somewhat went terribly wrong. Lol.
We came out dancing like a minion too.

After all the actions, we went to Movies by the beach @ Palawan Kidz City Roof Garden. There was a movie screening in the open air. It was such a nice night for a picnic. Nice night breeze, not humid, we brought our picnic mat. PS joined us.
There were some special appearances of wild peacocks near the viewing area. They were making loud crowing wailing calls.
The show was "Finding Dory". The children loved how forgetful Dory was, but she still found her parents in the end. I almost cried when the parents said "We stayed in this spot for you ever since, because we thought you might come back. and every day we laid shells" I'd imagine it must have been tough for parents to move forward after losing a child.
We celebrated in advance Hub birthday. We were struggling to light the candle with the windy night.
We left after eating the cake. On the way to the carpark, there were fireworks.

This whole week, we'd call Bray a Dory. He'd forgotten his uniform, his watch, his wallet. He'd such a big Dory.

Life is full of beautiful, happy moments.
