We planned for a weekend trip to Legoland. At the entrance, we were turned away. We had forgotten the annual pass was not applicable for June and December holidays.
The children were both disappointed. Oops!
We played at FunMax nearby - claw machines and arcades. Brayden caught a Snorlax toy, it became his "travel buddy" for the next days (He has forgotten about the "special" toy after reaching home). We then let the children into the small animal pen near the entrance of Legoland - for RM10/each. They happily carried the rabbits, chickens, gecko, bearded dragon lizard, tortoise.
Next stop, Paradigm Mall. It was crowded due to the school holidays. There were many exciting activities for the children. We were there 2 days in a row. On the first day, we let the children in the Utopia Jungle World Themepark. On that day, there was free face painting and cheerleading workshop. The children loved the playground; balloon house, sand play area, ball pit with cannon and their favourite the large lego blocks. They built castles and small homes.
On the second day, my 10 year-old niece joined us at Jumptopia Space Warriors , Paradigm Mall Convention Centre. The bouncy wonderland is open from 1 June - 6 July 2025. It is fun for children of any age and adults too. We bought the family combo (2 adults + 2 children + 1 add-on child) at RM200. There were 5 castles, 1 battle arena, 1 ball pit. They loved it. It is good fun spot to escape the hot outdoors and heat waves, it is definitely a good choice over Legoland. It was big enough to play tag & hide-and-seek. I was all drained after a few hops and bounced. Bev's height was just the same as the big ball in the battle arena. She could easily roll across the room inside the big transparent ball. It was funny how Bev, Bray and Hub tried to battle against one another. They were seen rolling on the floor more often than battling.
We had lunch at the Thong Bowl Thai Food. The Thai noodles were delicious and the Thai Bubble Milk Tea was humongous! I think one big Milk Tea can serve more than 8 standard glass.
We had dinner at Century Street Food near KSL. It was a nice outdoor hawker setting. The curry fish head, duck rice, satay, grilled seafood were good.
Time to head back to Singapore!
